2. Principles
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only process data that is necessary to operate the website and provide our services, and we protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
3. Accessing the website / server log files
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically stores data in server log files that your browser transmits:
● IP address (shortened / anonymised where possible)
● date and time of access
● page / file requested
● referrer URL
● browser type, operating system and device
This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the error-free operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 60 days. As our data processor, we use Hostinger.
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. Strictly necessary cookies enable the basic functioning of the site. Statistics cookies (see Google Analytics) are only set with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings and delete or block cookies in your browser. Newsletter service done by Brevo.
5. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter on the website. We use the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive an email with a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you click it.
We use the service [ENTER NEWSLETTER PROVIDER, e.g. Mailchimp / Brevo / MailerLite] to send the newsletter. This processes your email address and, where applicable, your name, as well as sign-up and delivery data (e.g. time, IP address at sign-up, open and click rates).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email or by contacting us; your data is then removed from the distribution list.
We use Brevo, a service provided by Sendinblue SAS (106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France), to send the newsletter. This processes your email address and, where applicable, your name, as well as sign-up and delivery data (e.g. time and IP address at sign-up, open and click rates). 6. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse how the website is used. We have enabled IP anonymisation, so your IP address is processed in shortened form.
Analysis only takes place if you have consented in the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google in the USA. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

7. Contacting us
If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or the initiation/performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
8. Embedded content and external services
The website may embed or link to third-party content such as podcast players (Spotify, Apple Podcasts), videos (YouTube) or social media profiles (LinkedIn). When you play or access these, the providers may receive data (including your IP address). Their own privacy policies apply to that processing.
9. Disclosure of data
We only disclose personal data where necessary for the purposes described — for example to processors such as our hosting and newsletter providers, who are contractually bound to confidentiality — or where legally required. We do not sell data.
10. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
